Fanimals Visit

Fanimals Visit

This morning, in Whakamanawa we were told to sit like every time we have an assembly. Jess and Stacy from Fanimals came to our school and brought their dog Molson along with them too. Lots of people were kneeling up and lots of people couldn't see, everyone was excited when they saw Molson. Some people in our class asked questions about fanimals and they got to answer them. They were discussing about the prizes and some other stuff, we lined up by class individually and petted Molson and got an Autograph after petting him. 

Fanimals is a family TV show where kids show their pets on TV and tell them about their talents and other cool tricks.

We've been learning about Treating others. But in a good way. During class, we have been learning about treating others and making sure we do care about each other. Treating Others can help other people collaborate better and be nice. Sometimes you can always be kind to other people who aren't being kind, maybe try being kind to other people even when they're new or different, Being tolerant is a very good thing too. My next step is to be kind to people even when they aren't and show a good tone

Today, in my class we've been working about Pride In Achievement, We saw a presentation about not giving up. So we did some work on our own Pride in Achievement DLO

My next step is to achieve all of my goals even if they are hard. And not give up even when it's hard.

2019 Orana Park Trip (Seniors)

2019 Orana Park Trip

Kia Ora, I had a school trip to Orana Park, I really enjoyed seeing the animals around the place. including the llama! I was really excited to visit Orana park since before I was 5. We got to feed the spider monkeys with pinecones and nuts. But eventually we weren't able to do it at the park, but at least we had a great time at Orana. 

Here is a Peacock. They are out of their cages because cause if they aren't they could actually pass away 

This is a Tazmanian Devil, They could be cute but sometimes they could bite. They are called devils because of the sounds they make at night. Their bites could cause a disease called DFTD

These are cool lions. Their expressions are really funny to imagine, They stare at each other seriously. They are interesting because we learned about their prides and families. They could be very scary because in the cage we saw ribs, bones and a mini skull. Maybe you could say they're cute but when you get in the cage... I would say not.

Here is a llama. They could be funny, and these llamas were on the farm side. Even sheeps were in the barn, We thought we could back away before it spits at us! but at least it wasn't gonna give us a stinky shower.

Kia Ora, I have finished the cupcake quiz! you can try it no matter what. You can have a go with it and share it with your friends. I'm really proud of this, because my goal was to finish it, and it took me about a year for me to finish the quiz properly. I really hope you will enjoy this quiz.

Kia Ora, Today I have been trying out a strategy from numeracy. The strategy works out my problems, and it was really helpful for me. Next time my goal is to reach stage 6 do I can learn more strategies.

What Are Earthquakes?

Kia Ora, today I have been learning about Earthquakes because it was our thing for learning at Literacy class, I finished it not very early and not very late, it probably was about 3 weeks? I used Venngage to make an infographic for my blog and it was pretty interesting to make infographics because they all looked like posters, I researched some facts and questions at google, they were interesting too, but too hard to understand because they said the facts in a formal or mature way it was really interesting when we read the text in our Takitini site, I really enjoyed researching about other earthquakes, I drew some buildings with the Richter scale to number 3 and 10, but I think the drawing wasn't really that much. I really hope you enjoy looking through my DLO. If I could rate how interesting and how fun it was to learn about facts I would give it a 3/3.
