Port Hills on fire

FIRE On Port Hills

In March, 2017, two fires spread across the Port hills. one is believed to have started by an Electrical problem between some wires.

People felt devastated and some houses were destroyed. Lots of people were coughing. They were worried about their homes, pets and families. The firefighters used ponds, pools, buckets and hoses to put the fire out. The victims of the fire were  people who lost houses, firefighters, David Askin a pilot who died in the fires, christchurch people, farmers, animals and pets.There was a lot of smoke everywhere. people tried to put out the fire but it was hopeless. four hundred and fifty people evacuated during the fire.I felt sorry for the people who evacuated during the fire, but right now they are rebuilding their lives and being with their families and friends.

If I were in charge of the world

If I was in charge of the world I’d cancel school and butter

If I were in charge of the world there’d be holidays in every day and spicy noodles restaurants

If I were in charge of the world you wouldn’t have to  pay for anything

You wouldn’t have any bullies

You wouldn’t have people being criminals

Or you wouldn’t have any violence

If I were in charge of the world I would add fruit shops everywhere and have  no-one telling you what to do

And sometimes a person who sometimes forgot to send  mail

And sometimes forgot to show my work

Would still be allowed to be in charge of the world.
